Who We Are

Located in Ottawa Canada, Back-Bone Gear Inc. was formed by the core team of XYZ RGB Inc., a world leader in 3D scanning and shape acquisition technology with more than 20 years experience in the blockbuster motion picture visual effects industry with dozens of major films under our belt. Using all the tools and technologies at our disposal we can generate product designs rapidly and developed entirely in-house.

Our current focus is the creation of custom small form factor camera modifications for use in entertainment, medical and scientific applications. By unlocking the unlimited potential of the world’s best action cameras we have tapped into a huge and loyal global customer base. Back-Bone aims to create a diverse offering of unique products focused on the film and entertainment industry.
